A Little About Me...
Hi! My name is Veronica Jurek, and I am a graphic designer, illustrator, art director, and all-around creative.
I graduated from the American Academy of Art in 2016 with a BFA in Illustration. Since then, I have worked in design and marketing in several fields; RV, Real Estate, and even Publishing. I've been lucky to have a wide range of career design opportunities, because of this I feel like I have a great hold on being flexible and creating a custom feel when working with clients and employers.

My Current Role at World Book
I started at World Book, Inc. in June of 2021 and I am currently handle the Direct Marketing and Marketing Graphic Design for World Book Inc. I specialize in creating announcements and complete marketing set-up for four different World Book publications. I also supply graphic design for web, email, social media, and sell sheets/marketing collateral for various teams at World Book.
Day to Day...
My roles at World Book include:
Designing all marketing collateral for all shipments, including sell-sheets for direct marketing as well as the Sales Team, invoices, and even mailing carton design. Creating posts for social media, designing web banners and e-banners.
Create a schedule for the announcement and shipment process for each title and work with internal teams and outside vendors to meet deadlines successfully.
Organize our customer lists and previous sales data to forecast sales for the upcoming books and handle the end of month processes for all Direct Marketing sales and dispense any royalty payments.
Help with the marketing plan and strategy for the year, convention aide, design marketing swag, and design and edit the digimag catalog.
Outside of Work...
Outside of work, I love to work on various drawings or paintings (check out the Illustration tab!) , go on walks, thrift, study astrology, and enjoy a good farmers market.
Recently, I've been getting really into fashion so you can even find me daydreaming about fun outfits from my thrift finds.
Otherwise, I'm home with my fiancé and cats enjoying time together or planning my next pop-up Art Show.
